BRUNNER LODGE U.A.O.D.

(OUE OWN COERBSPONDBNT.)

The half yearly meeting of the Brunner Lodge, U.A.O.D. was held in the Lodge Room, Brunner, last evening, when the outgoing officer’s report and balance sheet was read, showing that eighty-eight members were’ good on the books;, and the amount of funds to credit of Lodge being £823 14s 3d, the amount paid away during the halt-year in sick pay being £45 6s Bd.

Votes of thanks were accorded the outgoing officers. Bro. James Arbuckle, District President installed the following officers J.P.A., Bro. W. Richards ; A.D., Bro. D. Griffiths ; V.A., Bro. L. Magee ; Secretary, Bro. J. Ward ; Treasurer, J. Walker ; A.D.B’s Bros. Kennedy and Parker ; TJ.A.B’s Bros. Irving and Jones ; 1.G., Bro. Connelly ; O.G. Bro. Gutherlet.

The D.P. presented Bro. Parker with a handsome framed P.A. Deploma for having filled the position of Past Arch during the past half-year. Two candidates were proposed for initiation, after which the Lodge closed,
