PATEA HARBOR IMPROVEMENTS.

(per press association) Patea, This Day. The Patea Harbor Board has adopted the report of Reynolds C.E., recommending a west pier to cost for 600 feet £15,000 or 700 feet £31,700 which would effe nually protect the bar and give considerably deeper water in the chmnel. It was resolved to get the necessary bill prepared authorising a loan to carry out the work.
