DOBSON SCHOOL ELECTION.
At the meeting hold in the Dobson,’, schoolroom on Tuesday evening, May/ 98th, there wore ten persons present,, including three ladies. Mr J. Irving was voted to tho chair. The Secretary stated! the Committee had held twelve monthly meetings and two special during tho past, year. Tho balance-sheet and auditor's report were approved of, which showed a. balance in the Treasurer’s hand, from the’ 4th of May, to be £8 ss. The Education Board had done improvements and repairs to the building during the year to the amount of £32 ss. The newly elected Committee held their first meeting after the close of the public meeting. Tho names of the Committee are as follows• Messrs J. Irving, B. Barnett, J. Tempcrly, W. Griffiths, P. Curtain, E. Hill, and Mrs Tindale. Mr J. Irving was elected Chairman, B. Hill Secretary, and Mrs Teasdale, Treasurer.
