Greymouth Liyq Stock Market.
Me3srs G. W. Moss and Co report yeserday's sale at Preston yards as follows; — The entry consisted of 70 cattlaand 220 sheep from the Grey Valley. Cattle sold at late ruling rate ll , but owing to ship stock not arriving, there was a short entry of sheep and prices realised were in considerable advance on late prices. We sold the fo lowing stnek :
Fat Cattle—On account of Mr M. Fox, 1 heifer, £8 17s 6d ; 6 steers, £4 7s 6d to £6 15s, averaging £6 ss. On account of Mr W. J. Coates, 7 bullocks, £6 to £8 2* 6d, averaging £6 16s ; 8 heifers, £4 10s to £6 12s 6d, averaging £5 18s 6d ; 2 springers, £5 10s. On account of Mr Charles Bellew, 19 heifers, £4 10s to £6, averaging £5 2a Od ; 4 bullocks, £7 2s 6d. On account of Mr Cams, 16 bullocks from £5 103 to £9 2s 6d, averaging ££ 18s ; 7 heifers £6 5s to £0 12s 6d, averaging £6 9?. '
Fat Sheep—On account of Mr W, J. Coates, 71 wethers, 17s 6d. On account of Mr J. Marshall, 29 heavy ewes, 20s 3d, Onaccouutof Mr M. Fcx, 50 wethers, 21& 9d.
Fat Pigs— Oa account of a client, 3at £2 2s.
