WEST COAST BAND CONTEST.
[our own correspondent.]
Westport This Day. The weather is rough so far but there is now every chance of it breaking fine. There is general sympathy with Ashton on account of his loss by the late fire and congratulations on his pluck in coming to the contest.
Goodall (Euphonium) Garth (Baritone) Cocks (Bass) and Goodall (Cornet) should run very near on top to-day.
