Circumstantial advices from Singonfu state that Luchuanliu and General Yunglu are supporting the Empress Dowagers reactionaries and defying the ministers of the court. It is feared that a revolution is contemplated in the Palace aiming at the death of the Emperor in favor of Prince Tuans Son Fuchun.
The Ameriorn troops have evacuated Pekin excepting the forbidden city where the legation guard remains. Most British troops at Tientsin are returning to India forthwith. *
