Extraordinary Animal.
London, May 12.
Sir Harry Johnstone, special Commissioner at Uganda has sent to the British museum the skin and skull of an animal discovered in the forresta of Uganda and Congo. It is supposed to be an historic helladotherium. It resembles a giraffe, is as wild as an ass and tapir combined, the forehead is of a scar'et colour and the rest of the skin is a remarkable colour.
Turkish Post Office Arrangements, Received this day at 9 8 am. Constantinople, May 12.
The Turkish Government has accused the directors of foreign post offices of facilita'ing and smuggling. The Ambassadors returned a vote making the accusation on the ground that tho note was offensive. The Porto proving unyielding in tho matter the Ambassadors cited tho cases of Japan and Egypt in support of the contention to legal basis for foreign post offices in Turkey.
