KEEP-IT-DARK MONTHLY REPORT.

The mine manager reports for the month ending April 27th, 1901: The No. 3 rise has been produced 49 feet, for the month, total height 165 feet; 17 feet more will connect with No 2 level. The contractors in No 3 level have made a start and havo driven 9 feet; no change to report in the ground. The inside north block in No 2 level is pinched in the top stopc; the same break was gone through in the rise, but it was only a few feet, when the stone made again as good as before. No change to report on any other part of tho stopes. Nine hundred and ninety-nine tons have been broken out of the mine and sent to the battery for the month; 1020 tons have been crushed. The returns are as follows: Battery, 2570zs 3dwt 12grs of gold from 1020 tons; cyanide, 1420zs 17dwt Ggrs of gold. Total 400ozs Odwt 18grs.
