NEW ZEALAND ROGBY UNION

Wellington, April 26.

Ths New Zealand Kugby Union met to-night, all the affiliated unions being represented except Canterbury. G. F. C. Campbell in taking the chair made reference to the coming visit to New Zealand of the New South Wales team, said that it should bo borne in mind the team was coming to the New Zealand Union, not to the provincial bodies. His Excellency the Governor was elected patron and A. F. Hawke of Southland president. There was along discussion on the constitution of the appeal committee. Eventually it was decided that the motion of the Auckland delegate that the committee bo located in Wellington. The committee is to be elected by the -New Zealand Management Committee.

The latter committee was instructed to close the arrangements at the earliest possible moment for tlio visit of the New South Wales team, also to arrange to hold a conference of referees in Wellington on as early a date as possible.

It was decided to call the attention of the affiliated unions to the provisions necessitating forwarding to the New Zealand body all the disqualifications made.
