The Federal Cabinet discussed the various Bills to be submitted at the opening of Parliament, good progress was made with several. It is understood that an attempt will be made to include the Tariff in the first session. It is also reported that Eeid will challenge the Government Fiscal Policy as outlined by Hopetoun in his opening speech. The Cabinet has accepted the New South "Wales Premier's offer to provide a free side for the Federal capital. Brisbane, Apeil 26.

In view of the Federal developments steps are being taken to form a strong organisation for the defence of the interests of sugar growers and manufacturers.
