Received April 18, at 10 29 p m. Sydney, April 18. Operations have been commenced to decorate the city for the Yorks’ visit. Melbourne, April 18. A great demand for accomodation has set in, and 80s to 40s a day is asked in some cases for first-class accomodation. The Norwegian residents will decorate a portion of the route. 10,000 invitations have been issued for the various functions. Received April 19, at 1 10 a m. London. April 18. The Dutch East Indies’ warships go to Singapore to greet the Yorks, and also to Melbourne.
