Christchurch, April 18. At the Supreme Court to-day before Justice Denuiston, Henry George Simms petitioned for a divorce from his wife, Emma Simms, on (he grounds of adultery wiHi James C. Martin, ex-Judge of the Supreme Court. Mr Hall, who appeared for (lie respondent and co-respondent, admitted the allegations contained in tho petition. His Honor granted a decree nisi to be made absolute in three months, co-respondent being ordered to pay costs on the highest scale.
