Londox, April 15. Renter states that Colonel Plumcr's advance on Pietcrsburg foiled the preparations for another invasion of the Cape. Tlio gaols in the Northern Transvaal arc 11 lied with recalcitrant Boers. Stcyn is at Fahaksberg. JI is health is broken, and it is believed that he advises the commandoes to surrender. Sehalkburger is at Totesburg near Middleburg. Vorsterself is appointed chief commandant and has gone to Spelonken, farther to the eastward. Beyers mustered 1000 Boers at Hamertsburg and mounted a Long Tom. Mr Bennett Burleigh reports that Col. Plumcr destroyed the offices used for the production of postage stamps and blue backs, but the hand-press used for printing them had gone.
