Received this day at 9 1 a m. London, April 12. At Singlewell some concealed Boors surprised six Tasmanians who were Hearing Pietorsburg. They killed two privates, Walters and Dale, with successive shots.
The local Dutch arc pleased at the appointment of progressive Afrikanders to the Transvaal Civil Court.
Colonel Munro, of Bethuno's after two hours hard fighting new DevfeW dorp, captured eighty Boers, including Commandant Bresia.
Lieut Sindeyne, of the Stoats Artillery of the Kimberley Column, had a fight between Jacobsdal and Koffyfontein. The Boers lost heavily.
