Received this day at 9 1 a.m. The Fire on the German Warship,
Berlin, April 12. The fire aboard the Kaiser Frederick was caused by the concussion, when struck, forcing the fluid fuel called " masut" stored in the double hold under the battleship's furnaces into the furnace room.
Received this day at 9 8 a.m. Defective Torpedo Boats. London, April 12! All the Deyonport flotilla of eight torpedo destroyers, sent for a threo weeks' cruise, were crippled by a heavy wave in Bristol Channel. The destroyer Seal struck the full force and had her back broken. It is feared that the damage is irreparable. The Bat and Wolf are leaky. The condensers of the Locust were insufficient.
