All the Deyonport flotilla of eight torpedo destroyers, sent for a threo weeks' cruise, were crippled by a heavy wave in Bristol Channel. The destroyer Seal struck the full force and had her back broken. It is feared that the damage is irreparable. The Bat and Wolf are leaky. The condensers of the Locust were insufficient.
