(by electric telegraph.—copyright.) (per press association.) Eoceived this day at 10 "2 a.m. Sydney, March 29. The morning papers have made a strong appeal to the electors in favor of Freetrado. Tha Express hopes that the policy will be successful so far as New South Wales is cozicernod. Reid, at last night's demonstration confidently predicted success, at the same time the Bartoneans express equal confidence. Forecasts from Perth point to a majority of Freetraders in both houses. A protectionist majority is assured in Victoria though freetraders expect to win by at leaat threo seats in tho House and a couple in the Senate. In other states the issue is less clearly cut and it is hard to forecast.
