JAMES BAIN'S COMEDY COMPANY.
The Gtft Australian Comique. We rem* our readers of the opening of James Ciain's Company next Tuesday April 9. It is a long time since we bad a visit im such a talented company,
and one carrying such a high reputation from near and far. Mr Bain has taken the people by storm in every part of the colonies, and as a contemporary appropriatelyputs it: "he has a face as elastic as putty, and at eve y change of feeling his faco is a study." Another critique says : " Comedians, as a rule, are not possessed of extraordinary good voice. Mr Bain is the possessor of a fine rich voice. He knows how to use it to good effect, and his sentimental items were highly applauded." Mr Bain has with him a most compact company of real star arsists, to which the northern papers have been giving great praise. Speaking of the Company's appearance in Dunedin the " Star" says:— " It is long since we had a visit from such a talonted company and containing comic artists of Mr Bdn's calibre, they should draw like a magnet."
