WELLINGTON HARBOR BOARD.

Wellington, March 22.

The annual report of the Harbour Board shows that the total receipts of the Board since its constitution in 1880 has been £1,200,403 of which, revenue has been £1,020,109 and loan moneys £203,084. The total expenditure during (be same period was £1,228,513 of which £771,023 expended on working expenses, £423,385 upon capital account and £20,505 contributed to sinking fund. The statement of profits and loss, shows the balance to credit of (he Board £7,910. The gross amount written off for depreciation was £14,107 as compared with £12,820 in previous years; balance of assets over liabilities is estimated as £187,270, being an increase for the twelve months of £12,145. A summary of exports passed over wharves shows the following increases in tonnage compared with last year: Frozen meat 1783 tons; tallow 453 tons; butter 2030 tons; cheese 2507 tons. The number of bales of wool stored was 57,414 in excess of any previous year.
