In the House of Commons sixteen Nationalists members at midnight, during tho debate on the Education vote, refused to vole, and on the closure were suspended, but declined to leave the House.
The Sergeant at-Arms called the police and a free light ensued over E. Crean, member for Cork S.E., who was the first member ordered to be quiet. The others helping him to resist, it took six policemen live minutes to carry out Crean amidst struggling, yells and cheers, several singing " God save Ireland ! "
Most of the others resisted and struggled similarly.
