DUKE OF YORK’S VISIT.

London, February 12,
It is reported that at Portsmouth the King and Queen intend to witness the departure of the Yorks’. The Channel Squadron will escort the Ophir from England and Gibraltar and the Mediterranean Squadron accompanies her through the Mediterranean to Malta and Port Said. A Torpedo destroyer will guard the Ophir through the Suez Canal. The cruiser St. George and Juno, which leave England on March 11th, also escort the Royal yacht from Suez to Perim, where the East Indian Squadron takes over the duty and continues to New Guinea where the Australian Squadron takes charge and convoys to Sydney.
