The Eoyal Visit.

Portsmouth dockyard is preparing four 42 feet steam pinnaces painted a Eoyal blue, picked out with gold and a similarly decorated 31 feet sailing barge for the Yorks’ use during their visit to the colonies. 1 *

National Memorial of the Queen.

The Lord Mayor of London has addressed a communication to the King suggesting the foundation of a small committee, consisting of members of the present and late Governments, to consider what form shall the proposed national monument to the late Queen take.
He suggests that the committee should nominate a representative committee.
