The Cinematogrephe.

o To night oar readers will hare the opportunity of witnessing the most nnique exhibition ever (resented in Feilding— the Cinematographe -the one which hat b^enso successful throughout New Zealand. The Wellington Evening Post, in noticing the exhibition, said : — First, the living presentmeat of Sandon, the ntrong man, stood before us, and as he bant and turned like a living statno, we saw the magnificent development of the muscles of bin body ; a burlesque Highland Fling by a dozen stage Scotchmen caused roars of laughter. An ambitious subject was a presentment of the execution of Mary Queen of Scots in all its details ; the interior of a barber's shop crowded with movi ag figures ; a wrestling match between a man and a dog ; a champion lady rifle shot firing at and breaking thrown glass balls ; a rescue of children from a burning building ; a military operatic march, n broad sword combat and a skirt dance by three of the "Gaiety girls" were each successive proofs of the capabilities of the inventiou. But the palm among the pictures must be accorded to a serpentine dance by Miss uys, the limelight effects of which were beautifully rehdtred, while the gra.ee of the evolution* far exceeded auy dancing we have seen in New Zealand. Judging by the unusaal interest manifested in the advent of tho Cinematograpbe here tbe Assembly Rooms should be crowded to-night, and we would advise intending patrons to go early and secure good seass.
