Tbe proposed trip to Napier by a team from the Manawatu Union had to be abandoned owing to the fixtures of the Queensland team clashing with the dates on which it was intended to visit. Napier. The following team will represent Feilding against Cheltenham, at Feilding on Saturday next :— Bartholomew * (2), Clayton, Halcombe, Moore, Hill, Stewart, Robiuson, Eade, Haybittle, Shearer. The match will start at 11 a.m. The following team will represent Colyton in their match against Birmingham on Saturday next at Birmingham : — J., W., and D. Entwisle, G. C. Millen, C. Burnett, Gibson, L. E. Beade, G. and R. Simpson, and Rose ; emergencies, Woodman and Power. The coach will leave Colyton Hotel at 8 a.m. The following have been selected to play for the Cheltenham Cricket Club in their match with Feilding on 3atur» day 19th inst : —Banks, F. Barrow, Jn. Barrow, Burrell, McFarlane, A. Barrow, Jas. Barrow, Bruce. Gibson, Pratt, Tiles. Emergencies -Callighan, Fowler, A. W. Hedges, R. Taylor, Jaggard. The Australian Eleven arrived here yesterday and were entertained at iiuncheon by the Melbourne Cricket Club where the members of the team were accorded an enthusiastic reception. Speeches were made eulogising Trott's successful captaincy, while several members of the team spoke highly of Mr Muagrove'3 management.
