Pohanama County Elections.
The polling for the various contested seats in the Pohangina County Council was held yesterday with the following results; — Mangapikopiko rising. — W. Vicary, 53 ; E. Nix, 16. Majority for Mr Vicary 37. There was very little excitement in the riding over the contest. Pohangina Riding— W. Cornfoot, majority 8. . ' Awahoa Riding— H. Dicken, majority 18. Tamaki Riding — H. Fraser, majority 6. Mangaone Riding —R. W. Brown, majority 27. Urautoi Biding retmlts have not yet come to hand. Messrs Dicken, Fraspr, Brown and. Vicary are old members.
