AUSTRALIANS v. AUCKLAND.
(Per Press Association.) Auckland, Nov. 7. The Auckland eighteen, in their first innings, made 140 runs, or 22 behind the Australians. The Australians, in tbeir second innings, bave made 68 for two wickets. November 9. Beautiful weathef prevailed for the continuation of the match to-day, aud from 4000 to 5000 jieople were present. Hill and Kelly went iv to continue ' the Australians' second innings. Owing \ to Holland (Auckland) getting his hand injured on Saturday, he was replaced by C Henry. In the Australians' innings the scores were — Iredale 12, Darling 32, Kelly 43, Hill 51, Gregory 5. Trott 24, Eady 5, H. Graham 0, Jones 17, Trumble 32, McKibbin 3. Total, with extras, 233. Tbe Aucklanders wanted 256 to win when they went in for their second inn ings, and the highest scores were — Geo. Mills 10, I. Mills 18, Ohlsen 18, D. Hay 19, Bull 11 (not out). Tbe game ended in a draw with eleven j Auckland wickets down for 111 runs. i Trott gets the trophy for the highest aggregate for tbe Australians and I Mills for the highest aggregate for the Auckland team.
