o A match was played on the local cricket ground between the Falmerston N. and Feilding Cricket Clubs yesterday, resulting in a win for the former by 79 runs. Mesdames Lethbridge and Sorley kindly provided the players with afternoon tea, Following are the scores : — Palmerston North. — First innings.
A cricket match was played at Birmingham yesterday between the Birmingham and Kiwitea school boys, resulting in a win ior tlie former by 23 runs. The scores will be published in to-morrow's issue. In a previous match between these teams the Kiwitea boys secured a victory, but tbe scores were not published owing to an inadvertence.
