The Presidential Election.
(Per Press Association.) New York, Nov. 1. There were seventeen thousand speakers at the parade of sound money men from the Western States in New York yesterday. The scene was only comparable to the parade of veterans at Washington at the close of the civil war, The greatest enthusiasm prevailed and flags were flying in every direction. A hundred and twenty-five bands marched at intervals.
