(Per Press Association) Wellington, September 17. The Wellington Racing Club has reappoiufced Messrs J. O. Evett and H. Piper handicapper and starter respectively for the season. Some interesting coincidences in connection with Dummy and Mutiny are given in last week's Sporting Review by Mr F. Watson, of New Plymouth. Both are geldings and are by the same sire, The Mute; they are the same color, chestnut ; both were bred by the same man, Mr W. Douglas, of Hawke's Bay ; both were purchased by residents of New Plymouth ; both won tbe Stratford Cup ; both won their first National Hurdle Race from start to finish ; both were schooled the same number of times (five) before they raced over hurdles ; and both were schooled by Percy Johnston and ridden by him in the first National Hurdle Races they won.
