A Big Scheme.
(Per Press Association.) Adelaide, This Day. The representative of the Anglo-French Goldfields Company of Australasia is making overtures to the Government to <<ranfc concessions for tbe construction of a trans-continental railway. He offers to construct it with European labor and to manufacture all iron and steel in the colony, the concessions to take the form of 99 years leases. He states there are immense formations of iron sfcone in the interior, which will be developed. The Government is lukewarm in the matter, but many members are favorable to the proposals.
