Panic in a Theatre.

(Per Press Association ) Perth This Day. A sensational incident occurred yesterday at the Ksperance Theatre. A performer dropped a burning hoop on the sta^'e. The attendants poured a tin of kerosene on the flames in mistake for water and the fire leaped to the roof iv an instant and burned fiercely. There was tremendous excitement among tbe audience who made a rush for the doors. The proprietor, however, who acted with great calmness, succeeded in extinguishing the flames and restored order.
