- ■ o [Per Press Association] Wellington, This Day. Tbe Banking Committee of tbe House resumed its sittings this morning. Mr Booth handed in several further papers relating to transactions in connection with the Bank and Estates Company, but he continued to decline to produce, at present, certain otber papers and documents asked for in connection witb lauded property v and bank premises as these were trading concerns, some of wbich were under offer, and it would probably the Bank if the Committee insisted. However, he did not see his way to decline to give information on this head. He must decline, however, to disclose any private accounts of the Bank. He was willing to give totals but not individual accounts. Witness complained that an imperfect account of bis answer regarding tbe cessation of tbe Bank's advance business in Australia bad been cabled to Australia, and bad done tbe Bank injury. Mr Seddon then moved the Committee adjourn adjourn till 10.30 on Wednesday. He thought this should be done in face of the two extreme speeches that bad been made on the banking question during Friday'g debate by Messrs W. Hutchison and Crowther.
