(Per Press Association.! Auckland, January 8. The inter-colonial cricket match, New South Wales v. Auckland, was resumed to-day. Auckland continued their second innings, Ohlson being not out with a fine score of 59, Lawson with 16, being next best. Neither of the other batsmen reached double figures. The innings closed for 187. The Australians resumed their second innings, making 191 for the loss of 8 wickets before stumps were drawn. Ridge contributed 46, and the principal other scorers were — Hume 36, Callaway 21, Noonan 20, Prior 10, Wade 17. The match ended in a draw. The New Wales team left for Sydney to-night by the Waihora. Melbourne, This Day. Bruce has decided definitely not to accompany the Australian team to England.
