NEW SOUTH WALES TARIFF. THE AGENT-GENERAL. (Per Pbess Association). London, January 7. In mercantile circles there is much uncertainty as to the position of the New South Wales tariff, and details are anxiously awaited. Sir W. B. Percival awaits the Hon. W. P. Reeves' arrival before he returns to New Zealand. Capetown, Jan. 7. The Portuguese troops have captured the chief Gunbunt and his wives, and are sending them to Lisbon.
