Best freezing wethers 18s to 14s 6d, extra heavy weights 15s 6d; freezers, mixed sexes, 11s 6d to 12s 9d; best maiden ewes, 10s to lls 9d ; lighter sorts, 8s to 9s 6d ; medium, 6s 6d to Bs. Fat lambs — Extra quality freezing lambs brought 12s 6d to I4s6d; good, do., 10s 6d to lls 9d ; butchers' best lambs, 9s to 10s 6d ; inferior do., 6s to 7s 6d. Store sheep— Competition for forward sorts was very good. Four-tooths brought 10s to 12s ; 2-tooths, 7s 6d 9s 6d ; extra good do., 9s to lls 6d ; ewe lambs, all counted in inferior sorts, 4s 6d to 5s 6d ; old crossbred ewes, Hs 6d to ss. Pigs — Baconers, 80s to 37s ; porkers, 20s to 28s ; stores, 38s ; baconers and porkers averaged 3d per lb.
