The Abyssinian War.
(Per Press Association.) Rome, Deo. 10. The Sboas hold several officers who were attached to the Italian force* M prisoners. The Government is voting seven mil* lion lire in support of General Baratieri in Abyssinia. Italy requests the right of the passage for the troops through Somaliland. Further details of the disaster in Erjthrea show that Major Toaselli, after securing the wounded, faced the enemy again, surrounded by his native attend* ants. When the cartridges were exhausted Tosselli was killed and the rest committed suicide. London, December 16. The Italian Government has sent an order here for 100,000 tins of preserved meats.
