Massacre of Missionaries in Madagascar.
(Per Press Association.) Meuboubne, This Day. Mr Lord, an ex Madagascar misaionery, referring to the recently, reported massacre, donbts its accuracy and says he did not, in any case, for a moment believe the outbreak indicated any feel* ing of vindictiyeness or dislike to the English missionaries for whom the natives had a particular regard,, or that it presented the real feeling of the whole people towards them. He felt convinced ,the natives must have risen suddenly, and says snch a mad outbreak might occur without any accountable reason when the country is in such a disturbed itate as Madagascar is at present.
