11 ■ ■ 'O'" ■ (Per Press Association.) Wellington, Dec. 3. . John Idle, for breaking into a local store, received twelve months. Thos. Nordisch, for stealing "a horse at Masterton, 18 months ; Thos. Williams, seaman of the barque Alice, who stabbed another sailor on Sunday morning, four months. { Dunedin, Dec. 8. At the Supreme Court William Bloy, butcher, was charged with various offences under the Bankruptcy Act. The Jury, after a retirement of two hours, found accused guilty of two accounts — namely, failing to keep proper books and contracting debts, amounting to £16 12s 6d, without having reasonable expectation of paying them. Sentence was deferred. Archibald Blue, for breaking and entering, was sentenced to 12 months' bard labor.
