At the Supreme Court William Bloy, butcher, was charged with various offences under the Bankruptcy Act. The Jury, after a retirement of two hours, found accused guilty of two accounts — namely, failing to keep proper books and contracting debts, amounting to £16 12s 6d, without having reasonable expectation of paying them. Sentence was deferred. Archibald Blue, for breaking and entering, was sentenced to 12 months' bard labor.
