The Dean Conspiracy Case.
(Per Press Association) Sydney, December 3. Norton stated that Meagher said Crick got a letter purporting to come from the Crown Law office, containing an alleged promise from the authorities either that there would be no prosecution or else no bill would be filed. Morton's cross-examination was chiefly directed to show that unfriendly relations existed between him and Crick, but nothing fresh was elicited.
