Pohangina Notes.
At a public meeting held on Friday, 29th November, Mr A. E. Welsh in tbe chair, Messrs J. G. Browne, G. Adsett and A. A. Wagstaff were nnanirnousiy elected trustees for the hail and site. At a meeting of the trustees held subsequently, Mr J. G. Browne w«b elected chairman and Mr A. E. Welsh was appointed hon secretary and treasurer to the trustees as well as custodian of the hall. The trustees decided to make arrangements for improving and beautifying the hall. It was also decided tbat all meetings be charged for at tbe usual rate, viz., Is 6d per hour till the building is paid for. AU applications for use of the i hall to be made to Mr Welsh only. Cricketers' social on Friday next. Meeting of Ratepayers' Association on 14th December, at 3 p.m. — Standard.
