Michael Davitt.
(Per Press Association.) Auckland, Nov. 28. Michael Davitt was welcomed on his arrival at the wharf by a thousand people and driven to the Star Hotel, where a beautiful illuminated address was presented to him by the District Executive of the Hibernian Societies of New Zealand, which he acknowledged in appropriate terms. Representatives of the Irish National Federation League, Trades and Labour Council, Knights of Labour, and Women's Liberal League welcomed him in brief speeches.
