A Woman Pardoned.

(Per Press Association.^ Chhistchtjech, Nov. 26. Mrs Flanagan, who some four years ago was, with her daughter, sentenced to death for the murder of the infant child of the latter, which sentence was subsequently commuted to one of imprisonment for life, has been released. During her imprisonment she broke down utterly in health, and also became mentally affected. She was according removed to the Sunnyside Asylum. Some ladies took an interest in her case, and a petition. praying for her release was numerously signed and. sent to the Government. In consequence of this, and of her broken down condition, she has been pardoned.
