THE ASHANTEE TROUBLE SETTLED. (Per Press Association.) London, Nov. 20. The Daily News says Mr Chamberlain has accepted the assurance of Lord Suffield on behalf of the Ashantee envoys that Great Britain's demands will be complied with. The King of Ashantee undertakes to pay the cost incurred by the British Government in preparing for the campaign, and Mr Chamberlain has agreed not to send troops to the capital unless the terms of the agreement are repudiated.
