(Per Press Association). Melbourne, November 8. The fifty-mile cycling championship of Victoria resulted :—Parsons (South Australia), 1; Porta 2 ; Broadbelt 3. Time 2 hours 7min 47f>ecs, which is 13 mm 15 2 sth sees less than the previous Australian record for the distance. The winner covered one mile in 2min 16secs. Tandems} were used for pacing. Porta who is an Italian, rode a tine race. Pither, the New Zealand rider, was amongst the eleven st?rters, but with the remainder dropped out early in the race.
