A Lucky Colony.

MONEY LYING IDLE IN THE BANKS. (Per Press Association). Perth, Oct. 30. The Premier, speaking at York, said never bad the credit of the colony been so good as at present or had there been so much to the credit account. The Government could command so much money that it appeared to be a drug on the market, they could get no interest for it. The Government would have to devise some scheme by which money lying idle in the Banks could be used for public benefit. The revenue was still increasing and it was apparent the increase would continue for some time.
