GREEN SURRENDERS HIMSELF. FURTHER DEVELOPMENTS. (Per Press Association.) Sydney, October 15. Green, tbe fourth man wanted in the Dean case, has surrendered himself. He went to the house of Mr Hall, solicitor, early this maiming, and on bis advice accompanied him to the police station, and has been remanded to Thursday on a charge of conspiring to defeat the ends of justice ; he was also remanded on a similar charge iv another case. Ho had not been out of town since the warrant was issued, having hid himself in a house in the heart of the city. Meagher asked Green to go and see Dean aud tell him to look out and see the chemist who took a note from Dean to Smith, also a verbal message asking the chemist to shut up about the poison. That was the first and all he knew about the matter. It is understood that Dean has communicated with the authorities with the view to making another and fuller confession. Later.
