PRICES WELL MAINTAINED. | Pee Press Association. j London, October 6. The total number of bales catalogued to date is 151,600, of which 147,800 have been sold. A medium selection was offered yesterday. There was fair competition, and prices are unchanged. Sydney, Oct. 7. At the weekly series of wool sales, . which have been inaugurated, 11,000 ' bales were catalogued, of which 7600 have been sold. There was a large attendance of buyers, including many new- : comers from America and Europe. Competition was excellent for superior paresis. Prices, as compared with last month's sales, are almost unchanged, as far as can be judged from cablegrams. Prices lo« . cally received are fully up to and even exceed London values. \
