Throwing Hammer — Reid 75ft 9§in. Mile Walk— Goodwin. Time 7mm. 11 l-sth sees. 5-Mile Bicycle Championship of Australasia — Reynolds, Auckland 1, McDonald, Sydney, 2. The New Zealander made the pace from the jump and riding a magnificent race won by 350 yards, much to the surprise of the local men. Time, 12min 59 2-sth sees.
