The Licensing Bill.
(Per Press Association.) New Plymouth, Oct. 7. At a public meeting to-night the following resolution was passed : — " That this meeting protest against the Legislative Council being permitted to interfere with the powers of the control given to the the House last week and urges upon tho members of the Representative Chamber to reject the Bill if the local or national option powers be interfered with by the Council."
