Messrs Murray, Roberts and Co. have received the following wool market cablegram from their London house, Messrs Sanderson, Murray and Co., dated Ist October : — Market irregular. For combing merino and crossbreds market shows no change, but for faulty descriptions and clothing merino the market is weaker. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company have received the following cable from their London office dated London, Ist October: — Wool — Since close of last sales greasy merino super, greasy merino medium and inferior, fine greasy crossbred and fine washed crossbred are Id per lb higher ; washed merino super, scoured merino super and medium greasy crossbred are l^d to 2d per lb higher ; washed raerino medium and inferipr, scoured merino medium and inferior and fine scoured crossbred are Id to l^d per lb higher ; medium washed crossbred medium seourecj. crossbred, greasy merino lambs super, greasy merino lambs medium and inferior and greasy crossbred lambs are Id per lb higher ; coarse greasy crossbred, coarse washed crossbred and coarse scoured crossbred are l£d to 2d per lb higher. The total catalogue to date is 80,000 bales.
