] Per Press Association! Christchuech, Sept. 17. The following telegram has been sent by tbe President of the Chamber of Commerce to tbe Premier, tbe Colonial Treasurer, and members for Christchurch: — "Tbe tea merchants here earnestly urge the reasonableness of postponing the reduction of tbe duty on tea for six months, this being the rule invariably followed in such cases both here and in Australia.
